We're thrilled to welcome Rukmini Iyer to The Kitchen Table for what promises to be a really special evening. With approaching 2 million cookbook sales worldwide, Rukmini has become a household name for anyone who wants to eat well without spending hours in the kitchen. Her story is a good one. After a stint as a trainee solicitor and an appearance on MasterChef in 2013, Rukmini took the leap and trained as a pastry chef at Tom Kitchin's Michelin-starred restaurant in Edinburgh. It turned out to be exactly the right move. Her Roasting Tin series sparked something of a revolution, proving that simple doesn't mean boring and that one tin really can deliver proper, delicious food.
